My hero!   Thanks!  Holy Color Guard!  I'm sure it's been discussed, but anyone know how many they have in Guard?  And they included on of my favorite Peter Gabriel songs....

I thought Round Rock was fantastic. Definitely will be pushing for Grand National finals again

I have a lot of respect for Round Rock, back in 2010 I got to watch them perform. They made me fall in love with the activity and I always wanted to do shows exactly like their's. Good luck to them!

Definitely Round Rock's strongest performance I've seen this year. They've improved a lot from UIL Region. The show does a lot of interesting things in the beginning, but I feel the design might grow a little stale as the show progresses. They have a shot at finals here for sure though. If they don't make finals though, I think they are at a place where they can still make GN Finals.  (If anyone needs a video of their performance, I managed to snap one too. Just shoot me a PM)

Coppell has such a good show this year! Unfortunately, I think the field is so stacked that they might (I really hope they make it) be on the outside looking in. After a few “meh” years, I’m so glad that they hit on something SO special this year (and last year).

I hate to bog this down with questions about the live stream - if there's another thread, someone please direct me.  After every band, I get the general announcements, and even some of the MFA ads, then a black screen or freeze.  Have to reload, or at least select the other camera feed to get it going again.  Anyone else?  Anyone have ideas?  Watching using a TV web browser cabled directly to the modem.  Or if any experts, please PM me.  Thanks!

This is very interesting there will be some good bands missing finals with coppells run i am stumped, flomo is in medal contention maybe even first.

How? How Flower Mound? How do you manage to keep impressing me even more every single year. That was a fantastic show. Sue me, but I’ve got Flower Mound as the front runner for today’s prelims. We’ll see what the Saturday bands have got.

Really hope Coppell makes it into finals. They've had a tough past few years with almost half their staff leaving after the 2015-16 school year, but they have really started to make a comeback. Beautiful show, and they really cleaned it up visually! Music performance was excellent as usual for them, but it'll going to be tough to get into finals in a stacked competition like this.

 

Flower Mound is Flower Mound. They performed their show with an incredible amount of cleanliness and showmanship. Another excellent program from what may be the best band in the state, although I'm not sure if I would have them over Reagan based on both their performances today. Who knows what will happen in finals though? I will say, they might have the best individual marching technique of all Texas bands.

 

Sidenote, I also saw a Coppell performer fall right at the beginning of their opener but they recovered quickly. The turf seems to be messing with a ton of bands today.
