Wow I totally agree with all the judges choices...especially the 12 finalist bands. SO happy that Union is in! The judges really got this right.

Yeah it is, they changed it after what happened to Hebron in 2015.

The first half of finals in performance order is the second half of semi's scoring bands, or 7-12. 

Second half is 1-6.

So proud of Team Texas and fellow LISD South Bands!   What a showing!

We should all enjoy now but don't celebrate on the 2-yard line... finals is another story and another set of judges (I think).

 

That said, I'm really happy for Round Rock too.  My house is right on the dividing line for LISD and RRISD... so kids from our neighborhood are there.  

 

This is total redemption for the Dragons, having actually missed finals at BOA Austin... crazy right?

After this trip and last, you can take Round Rock performing on Saturday night in Lucas Oil to the bank. Their pushes have been a great story to prove that the season isn’t over until Chuck announces number 12.
