CTJBandPops Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 these are the players that we currently know are going to GNats in 2019 but lets look at a few other concepts based on Horn Ranks Rankings of those attending Hebron #8 CTJ #10 Leander #11 Vandergrift #12 TWHS #14 Round Rock N/A What are the WGI class of those attending CTJ World Class TWHS World Class Leander Open Class Hebron N/A Vandy N/A Round Rock N/A to the earlier conversation - guards do make a difference in the overall performance level while this is based on 2018 HR rankings and dos not account for WGI results for 2019 or the upcoming 2019 marching season - just food for thought Quote
LeanderMomma Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Interesting. We will see how it all plays out on the big stage I guess. How much a guard can help (or hurt) will never truly be known until BOA adds back a separate caption for them. I wish they would!!! Quote
principalagent Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Rock's guard is A Class now for what it's worth. I think Hebron's might be too. CTJBandPops 1 Quote
scoobydoo Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Round Rock's guard had been an open class guard for a few years. They're rebuilding and growing their guard and are currently A. I saw them in competition last Saturday. Their guard has grown quite a bit since the marching season, something which I've never seen them do before. I like the direction the new guard instructor is taking them. CTJBandPops 1 Quote
