bingogooberman Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 weiss on top of dripping springs is pretty significant Quote
FEDude Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Oh well, that sucks for Taft. Hopefully they use this as motivation moving toward BOA SA. Really exciting lineup though! It'll be awesome to see who comes on top between Weiss, DS, and LT. Also congrats to Brandeis on the percussion win. Most consistent line in NISD! Quote

I didn't get a chance to see the show, but if the closer was as messy as the recording I saw from a week ago, it doesn't surprise me that they didn't make it. That's part of why I never predicted them higher than 9th or 10th. Very fun show though. The music and visuals are so fun! Quote
Dog885 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 So who all is at the event? I am a little interested in meeting some new people here Quote

BroncoMom2020 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 LT has a very clean show. Powerful sound and precise marching. Props are amazing. They deserve to take 1st. Quote

But I mean more should we be expecting them in finals. I still consider them a bubble band, especially because one result at an early regional doesnt tell us much. But this is a great sign for them. Westwood also looks like they might be performing twice that weekend. Quote
Samuel Culper Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 I was very impressed with Brandeis. They have progressed a lot in the last few years. And their Guard is fantastic! Quote

I was as well until I saw LT, Brandeis and Weiss, they really performed at a high level and I think were scored correctly based on the performances Saturday. Quote

I didn't get to see their show...what did they add between the 2 shows? Execution in Finals was better for Glenn, also the Judges do rotate from Prelim's to finals so Different Judges on Music and Visual. The scoring breakout %'s are as follows for this contest and over a 10% jump in both Music and Visual for Glenn in Finals vs. Prelim's. Music = 30% Visual = 30% GE = 20% Percussion = 10% Auxiliary = 10% Quote
