2019 is honestly shaping up to be the most fun and exciting year after a relatively boring 2018 and I’m so here for it.

What was boring about 2018?

Boring in that the competition results were largely predictable and nothing super dramatic happened. Shows were fine, but they’re also tons better this year too.

I would have to agree. Especially after 2017 which was one heck of a season.

Nothing super dramatic? Vista Ridge got 4th at San Antonio and won state!

That was *one* result and that was becoming apparent as the season progressed—especially after Area H (which was dramatic, but not because of Vista Ridge).

There's also L.D. Bell and Westlake's unexpected appearances in SA finals, along with Cedar Park and Bowie missing out, and Cedar Ridge and Waxahachie making 6A state finals for the first time. I feel like those were decently interesting developments, but maybe not as big as some of the stuff this season haha

Also- not Texas, but Blue Springs medaling at Gnats. Also Bixby and Jenks becoming the 2nd and 3rd top groups in Oklahoma. Prosper making 7th in Semifinals, Timber Creek winning Midland, JBA becoming a force.

Blah. I have to drop by the lab. I probably won’t catch anything. Such is science! It’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out. Definitely I would not have expected Westwood, the 10th place finisher at Austin, to top TWHS, or for Seven Lakes to miss finals completely. I think the recaps will be very interesting. I’ll check the finals results later. Unfortunately, I won’t have any idea whether I agree with them or not!

Tompkins. Great show. They might do it. Worry the closer wasn't strong enough as you could tell the uncertainty. Loved the guard work. Very prominent and hit it.

yeah.. we added choreo to it yesterday and idk if that was the best move

I unexpectedly had to run home to deal with domestic affairs. So sitting down to streaming a little late into finals....

I’m actually using the Flosports app thru Amazon on my tv and it’s ok. We’ll see how it gets towards the end ...waaay too hot earlier today! Lol
