I just checked FloMarching’s schedule for the upcoming BOA season and guess what?!?!

 

BOA AUSTIN IS FINALLY GOING TO BE STREAMED LIVE!!!

there are always the unknowns - but I tend to look at history and combine that with the fact that we have some programs that are going to GNats this year

 

I would predict that the top 3 programs in Austin will be these ( in alpha order)

• CTJ
• Leander 
• Vandy

I think CTJ may pull off the 3-peat here - but time will tell.

 

VR will be in the hunt, and it may come down to who has a complete and/or polished show, and that leads me to lean to CTJ as they have created a history of doing just that in Austin the past 2 years - and taken a medal in their last 4 appearances.

LISD South ain’t messing around this year. Vista is going hard at it after taking gold in 6A State last fall, Leander is hungry to improve their GN placement from 6th in 2016 to the podium in 2019, and Vandy is ready to knock the socks off of the rest of the nation who hasn’t seen them yet in Indy. I think all three of us have something to prove this fall, and we’re all equally hungry for it. I’m sure CTJ is also ready to show the GN folks that they can do better than 9th place, so there’s that motivation driving them as well. I say all that to say, BOA Austin has lots of possible winners this season, and lots of different reasons are driving these kids to succeed this year in particular. Even Round Rock and Cedar Park have something to prove...a comeback to make. And I have high hopes for both of those programs to do just that this year.

 

I don’t think there’s a clear cut winner in Austin this season. I wouldn’t even presume to guess at this point. What I have already witnessed from several programs has astounded me so far. And I know it’s the same for the rest of y’all. These Texas kids are amazing and it is an unbelievable honor to witness such greatness. I plan to savor every moment of this season. It’s going to be special, I just know it.

I saw that. The good quality video was up for about 2 weeks then taken down. I was like    when I saw it . RR doesn't post videos until the end of the season.
