El Gato_01 Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Does anyone know the penalty value for going under the six minute minimum for performances at BOA? .8 i think Quote

BlueCircle Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Would love to see Cedar Ridge push into the top half tonight. Quote
Band2013 Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 They have moved up before so its possible Cedar Ridge vs. Cedar Park Quote
Drumlinedan Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Alright LISD powerhouse for last 4 let's go!!! This final is going to be insane Quote
Band2013 Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 This will be very entertaining, better get the stadium for seats between 35 and 35. Quote
MarchingBandLife Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 How do you think think finals will play out? Quote
lost Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 They’re playing September at Kelly Reaves right now makes me remember we’re going to be missing our Pfriends from Pflugerville tonight Quote
GreedyGreen Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I heard that Hendrickson was 40 seconds under the time limit; and if the .1 point per 3 seconds rule is accurate, that’s a 1.3 point deduction. Probably a lot of sadness if that’s the case Synth_God 1 Quote
Rudedog34 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 .8 i think.8 only? Or is it .8 per time. Like .8 per second? Ok. Verified with BOA rule book. Under/ over time penalty is: .1 point for every 3 seconds. Synth_God 1 Quote
MikeKyu Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 The top 5 were as I expected. Bottom 5 is a wild ride! So far it's been a phenomenal show. Let's hang on for the finals ride. LISD PROUD!! Quote
gmtb617 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Lots of Westwood kids in tears tonight. I couldn’t be more proud of this band. Well done! I wasn't able to catch WW in prelims but now I really want to see them in finals. And consequently I want to see them in Houston finals too. Quote
TWHSParent Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 If today taught anything, its that we should expect surprises at Houston and Dallas next week... Quote
LanghamCreekEuph Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 If today taught anything, its that we should expect surprises at Houston and Dallas next week... Just when I think the excitement is going to settle, it goes up another level! Quote
BlueCircle Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Westwood could push for a SA finals spot this year I’m calling it now or they’ll definitely be top 20. The only thing that could hold them back might be visual demand but I just love this show. Quote
Band2013 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 They won't be penalized for it directly but it is a main part of their GE so yes it will effect them. Quote
Band2013 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Cedar Ridge Seems much bigger this year! Quote
DeepEllum Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 CTJ’s show is so fun but I can’t tell what any of these forms are supposed to be Quote
BlueCircle Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 CTJ is having a much better run. Quote
principalagent Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 CTJ is definitely not having a better run. They placed their Side 1 pit completely incorrectly. However, as a result, I'm witnessing probably one of the most impressive things I've seen in 12 years in the activity. They're literally fixing drill on the fly to adapt to the misplaced pit. There's no doubt that they are a well-taught, well-equipped, and simply intelligent band to be able to do this so easily and make it look like nothing happened (after early bobbles). Fantastic job, CTJ. Xenon 1 Quote
Band2013 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 CTJ Visually hindered by prop which was placed incorrectly the left was to close to the 40. Quote

Band2013 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Even so they are perhaps one if the best bands in the country! Loved it Quote
