vacon3` Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Hornrank motioned that Churchill has had leadership changes, and they seem to predict a placement below top three. Whats the scoop here? They have been a strong program for so long, its hard to imagine them not medaling at this event. Quote

lost Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I’d like to know where you found that HornRank prediction But I will be honest rn and say that Alexander has a strong chance to take their first regional title which would be huge Quote

Indeed Churchill has had leadership changes this season and slightly smaller BUT, Churchill always shows up, rest assured! This will be their first BOA South visit, hoping for the best! #wcband #tempted Quote

dbmb Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I think this contest is going to be a really exciting shootout for some Area G powerhouses. Alexander I’m sure will be in contention, but I’ve heard rumblings about Roma and Pioneer trying to make some big moves for that big push in November. VERY excited to catch all these wonderful programs. Quote

Percplayer19 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Tough performance time for Birdville. Ive got to support BISD and hope Birdville has a good showing. They have had a few rough years but I still believe they can perform at a high standard. Good luck Hawks! Quote
gregorydf01 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Look for McNeil to do well here. Saw them Friday night and they are looking and sounding good. Also the Guard was looking on point and in mid season form! LeanderMomma 1 Quote
Dortiz23 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Roma is now marching Mellos and the band sounds completely different than past years. Roma is coming!! Quote

dloe Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Hi everyone! It turns out Brazoswood is withdrawing from this weekends Regional. Due to many uncontrollable circumstances (weather impacting rehearsal time and other reasons I don’t know of), they have dropped out. They’re really sad and disappointed that they won’t debut this weekend but they’re very excited to show off what they’re working on at BOA Houston in a few weeks. I know I’m very excited to see them at Houston. Quote

I would imagine that weather this time of year often has an effect on that area of the state. Especially if hurricane season is a particularly active one! Houston needs a lot more indoor facilities for those kiddos to rehearse in. Quote
lost Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 That’s a huge bummer , but does that mean a potential medalist spot has now opened? Quote

dbmb Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Unfortunate to hear. I hope Brazoswood has a wonderful rest of the season and hopefully the weather will stay away. Hope to catch some good shows tonight in prep for tomorrow’s contest! Quote
