PSHSMom Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 So you all had me googling Ghibli as I had no idea what that was. Of course, when I read about it, I realized I just had to ask my daughter, LOL. I haven't seen anything yet, but I wonder how many paper Cranes Plano East will have on the field with their show 1000 Cranes? Quote
MarchingBandLife Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Some of my favorite props so far are Vista Ridge's turning tables and their HUGE rotating stage. gregorydf01 and Samuel Culper 2 Quote
Lisajayes Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Now that I have been to a competition I will say I love Wakeland's rocketship! And the effect when they bring the moon tarp down around it is so cool. NTxBandMom8 and sttng 2 Quote
Dog885 Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I feel like doing a quick plug on my band. Our rocket ship prop has a little red Tesla on top of it and another has a green alien in the window and I love it sttng 1 Quote
josephbandfan Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Marcus has these cool book props and this tall ramp that wasn't finished at HEB. Also Wakeland's giant rocket looked awesome! sttng and NTxBandMom8 2 Quote

MadisonBandMan1 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 We have this really cool "steamroller" and a flatbed truck that holds all of the orange pBones. There are PLENTY of other props on the field too, but those are the ones that we make the most use of. Quote

LeanderMomma Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 I may be a bit biased but I love love love Wakeland's rocketship. Also, after watching the DFW finals, I can say that Marcus's book props look amazing, and Coppell's no-prop look with the capes/hoods is so striking in its simplicity but very impactful. I loved the rocket ship too! And the color guard costumes too. Just wow! I’ve just GOT to see that show live somehow. Quote

MarchingBandLife Posted November 5, 2019 Author Posted November 5, 2019 Vandegrift's novas and Vista Ridge's turning stage are still some of my favorites but Leander and the use of props in their closer has taken the #1 spot for my favorite props this season. LeanderMomma 1 Quote
