SpartanBandAlum Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I’d love to see North Shore’s percussion make the trip to Dayton someday Quote

I don’t usually watch the percussion side of things, but others are more than welcome to comment on it here. Quote
LostChoirGuy Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I'm not familiar with Heights. Is that the same as Harker Heights? Quote

BlueCircle Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Friendswood should have a very good shot at advancing out of A class but the battle to advance out of Open class will be brutal. We desperately need some movement in the Texas guard world since A class is so crowded. Also, it doesn’t help that in the DFW area, Keller was one spot away from moving up in 2018, and now it seems like Wakeland has dropped down from Open class. As much as I am excited to cheer on these Texas guards, I’m always most excited to see what Avon and Carmel do. They have consistently put out pure greatness. Obviously Avon’s past 2 shows have been stunning, but Carmel’s “Emerging” and “A lot of Strength Left” (I love me some Kate Bush ) have to be my favorites from those years. Carmel has always struck me as pretty conservative in design, so it was cool to see them succeed with more quirky and political shows. Quote
lost Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Someday we’ll have more open class guards. Quote
