Seeing Klein Collins on the list makes my Houstonian heart happy. That program has grown so much the past few years into one of the better programs in the city. Definetely a finals contender!

their director said that, that specific comp was “too easy”

? Quite a bold statement considering they haven't made finals at a regional in recent history. Missed a pretty good opportunity on this one.

They made finals at Houston in 2019, I believe it was the only BOA event they went to.

I'm really curious about the Brandeis and Alexander matchup. Should be fun to see; hopefully.

I believe those two are closer than people may think.

I think Brandeis takes it here

For a UIL contest, I would definitely agree with this statement as the Brandeis Band executes marching and musical fundamentals at a very mature level, however considering this is a BOA contest where 60% of your score is based on GE, Alexander does not kid around when it comes to this department. Only time will tell. That being said, seeing both these bands compete again at the UIL SMBC is not a far fetched idea.

According to the O'Connor Panther Band website, BOA McAllen is still on the calendar. I have not heard anything regarding them dropping out of this contest.
