2021 BOA Austin (Sept. 25)

I purchased the finals portion of the event, but after I paid for it, it prompted me with an error page. Nothing loads. Anyone else having issues?

I'm sorry- I didn't get that issue and just bought it.  However I can only hear it right now, no visual.

Oh no- I think they are having issues.  The video portion loaded for a few seconds but then the audio wasn't working and then the visual broke again.

Yeah I can't even purchase the finals package for the event, the website is crashing.

I got ahold of someone there and they said it is broken for everyone and they are trying to get a youtube stream going. ?

 

Wish I didn't purchase it after all.

I know this isn't helpful, but I'm currently not having that issue on the multi cam stream. I bought mine this morning, so maybe that's factoring into it. Are the issues only appearing to be with high cam?

Mine is working now after the website kept going down. The prelims stream was flawless so it sucks that they’re now having issues.

I think they are having an overloaded server.  The website keeps going down and the Roku app is glitching.

On Box5's YouTube channel, they have a free livestream up for the North Houston and Clarksville regionals. They may be trying to get one going for Austin with the website issues they're having.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Box5 audio between bands. It seemed like a few times earlier they forgot to mute the announcer's stream and caught a couple awkward moments.

I was able to get the audio working on my roku app but it just booted me out.  Can't sign in on the computer either.  ?

Yeah I don't see any Austin live stream on YT. Only Clarksville and North Houston.

Missed James Bowie but it's really nice that they're streaming the regional finals for free with all the issues they're having! I hope they can do some type of refund for the people that bought the finals package and couldn't get on.

James Bowie - Great front ensemble feature to start the show! The ensemble sound is both powerful and lush. Cool moment when the battery splits up and is intertwined with the winds on separate  parts of the field. The ballad is a highlight for me and I love the backfield playing that bookends it. I’m intrigued by the people on the tarps with the signs and umbrellas—I wish I understood the meaning.

Yeah I definitely want a refund, considering this is the only thing I purchased and its not working.  I do appreciate that they are trying to get it working.  Unfortunately the stream on youtube is multi-cam, which drives me nuts.

My thoughts was it was some sort of intersection of people at different points of life based on the costumes of that one group that circles in the center, but I could be wrong!

I hope Box5TV learns from this and figures out a way to be a little more prepared. Especially for an event like Grand Nationals, which will have much, much more traffic.
