Nice to see Coppell in the top half, their show is excellent. The rest of the top half are the names you would expect! Looks like Keller jumped ahead of Wakeland and Forney after HEB. Is this Carroll’s first time making finals here (or at least recently)??

I think that Flower Mound definitely won GE, but there were major intonation issues in their performance that just weren’t present with Hebron that made it surprising that they tied for music and not Marcus. But going on almost 7 hours apart can definitely be tough, especially from a judging standpoint. It’ll be very exciting to see how finals plays out! We’re in for some amazing performances regardless.

I do agree about that, I think Hebron will take sole possession of music with a better performance in finals.

Is Princeton doing exhibition here? I know they didn’t do so when they won their class in Austin so I’m just curious.

These results don't surprise me that much. Hebron is fantastic musically, but the show is a little safe from a design standpoint. Flower Mound is taking more risks for sure. I don't know if I like all of those risks, but they should be rewarded for them. FM's show also gives you those MOMENTS. That being said, given how awesome Hebron sounds, I could see that translating into music GE, so we could see some changes later tonight. I don't think there's a massive gulf between the two bands, personally.

If I remember correctly, Princeton didn't do exhibition because they had homecoming.  I think they should perform tonight.

I thought Hebron would handily take music. They did perform when it was much cooler thought. I also noticed the intonation issues with Flo Mo. I heard it with Keller too so I think the 90+ degree heat was affecting things. Flo Mo had GE on lock, no doubt.

keller was having intonation issues at heb marching finals so dunno if they fixed it and it was the heat or they’re just overplaying out of tune

Wonderful job Aledo! I love the ballad and that visual block after was so fun! The visual performance was really clean and impactful. I can see why they got that caption in prelims.

Aledo started finals off with a bang! Great sounds from the group, especially their soloists. I can see them doing very well in UIL if they advance to state.

Aledos show was so much fun! Big improvement from prelims! The music is amazing, and not surprised they took visual in prelims at all! Amazing all around!

Still kindof floored by how good Lone Star is for being a band I had never seen before prior to prelims! They just sound so good! Certainly not the most difficult show visually, but it sure is entertaining and well designed and performed. Watch out for them at 5A State!

Lone Star was amazing! The drill is so crazy, especially the big hit with the player coming across it straight lines. Music was good, although I personally thought prelims was a tad bit better, but still an amazing run! Will be seeing them at state for sure!

Lone Star really impressed me! Had seen them on the stream earlier, but seeing them in person…they’re fantastic!

They did. All of the Keller ISD schools got new uniforms this season.

Great job Forney! I love the commitment to character by everyone involved. Those giant ballad flags made for a great visual moment.

Forney was fantastic! THEY HAVE SOMEONE MARCHING IN A WHEEL CHAIR!!! That man is a true legend! They sound and look amazing! Definitely have high potential for state finals!

Timber Creek - Love the saxophone stuff!!! Super clean flag work on that first big hit! Again, the saxophone feature is so cool! Would love to see them finally advance to state this year, the potential is certainly there!
