The only thing that will hold you back is that the realignment numbers will likely push you to 6A, which will make the road to San Antonio really hard. But I think y'all can hold your own.

The race to be the first MISD school to get to state a second time will be a fun one.

I was at legacy in 2018, and I’m so proud of the progress we made. Sad I never got to go to state with them but it is what it is.

The 6a thing is a current topic within the band, our program is shrinking fast but we’re moving up a class so its super scary.

Thanks for reassurance we didn’t deserve 10th, we’re all super disappointed but I’m still very proud of how far we’ve pushed this program and I’m extremely excited to watch them for years to come.

That’s what I was saying, we don’t actually have any guarantee that as amazing as the bands in the second half are that they’re actually in the top half.

It is interesting though to consider the likelihood that the top 6 performing bands all draw second half times. Anyone good with probability know the odds of that?

Whoever is the combinatorics specialist on the forums might want to calculate the likelihood that the top five all get performances times in the last six spots...
