I know tis is completely unrelated to Texas 5A UIL, but I just thought I'd add what Clover is doing for SCBDA Concert Festival...

Sleep for warm up

We're playing La Fiesta Mexicana for the judged piece/pieces... 26 minute masterworks piece... only band in SC doing grade 6 masterworks this year.

it's a crazy song.

My band Donna HS, the 5A TX State Honor Band Finalist from 2003 will be playing:

March from Symphonic Metamorphosis by Paul Hindemith

Fantasies on a Theme by Haydn by Della Joio

Capriccio Espagnol by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

It should be an awesome program!

A wookie is one of those big furry animals from Star Wars. Chewbacca is one of them, if you've seen the old ones.

Northwest Symphonic is playing:

The Hounds of Spring, by Alfred Reed

Shortcut Home, by Dana Wilson

That's all I have so far.
