mbui Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Anyone going to the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) Convention in San Antonio, TX on February 15-18? Possibly a TXBands.com get together?? Reply if you're going. For more info: http://www.tmea.org Quote
sax5warrior Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 does that mean those days we have a sub for band...? o wait....nvm Quote
Danpod Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Exhibits galore! Everything band, vocal, or orchestral is there. Clinics are super fun to go to because almost all of them are free after you paid the initial TMEA Membership fee. It's fun to scout which places to go to. Make sure to get tons of free stuff at the booths. You can actually buy instruments there! RBC Music has this massive section of pieces for every instrument, including scores. DCI usually has some DVDs on sale as well!!!!!!!!! If you can make it down here, you're in for an amazing experience! Quote

bariphonium Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 If you can, don't even think about it; just do it. Not an opportunity to be missed. Quote
