Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 WOW Bartlett! This has to be one of my favorite shows of the year! Its such a cool theme, and they are executing the show so well. Soloist were on fire the whole show, great dynamics, and that guard was a treat to watch! Visually very stunning, I doubt it will happen but I would love to see them make finals, because wow that was an incredible performance, great job Bartlett! LeanderMomma 1 Quote
Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Even with the electronic issues, Carroll has impressed me SO much!!! What an amazing show! Guard was the big wow for me, so much hard work they are making look so easy. Great ensemble sounds, those woodwinds were ripping through some very difficult licks, and soloist were great, and the pushed through, great job Carroll! Gehrig4 1 Quote
Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Great performance from PCEP! Great use of different colors throughout the show. Great sounds all around, loved the guard uniforms. Musically very impressive, loved the ballad a ton, great job PCEP! Quote

Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 WALLED LAKE!!! What a show! Another INCREDIBLE color guard, absolutely memorized by their performance, especially their rifle line...I mean they killed it, I think one somewhat big drop, but other than that they were CLEAN! Soloist were very good, the drill helped bring out the show so much, lots of drill/bodywork to help do so. Really great sounds, loved this show SO much, amazing job Walled Lake! Quote
Hack Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 So we don’t learn where the schools rank in semifinals until after the competition- is this correct? Quote

Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Homestead has me jamming out at 7 in the morning!!! It's hard for me to read the show design wise, but boy do they sound and look great! Soloist did wonderful, some very hard drill that they killed, and just great sounds throughout the group! Percussion was defiantly a highlight, and that Guitar soloist was awesome, great job Homestead! Quote
Dallas Hobbs Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Great job homestead! Also it looks like I forgot that Indianapolis is an hour ahead of where I live and I ended up started watching the stream an hour later lol Tubalord11 1 Quote

Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Great job Nation Ford! Visually a very strong and enjoyable performance, guard was also very strong! Musically, they put out a good sound for their size, woodwinds were especially impressive, some dirt in the brass at times, but overall a very strong performance, great job Nation Ford! Quote
Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Amazing job Arlington! Such a HUGE, rich opening statement was blown away by their sound! Great rendition of "The Swan" in the ballad, they played it so beautifully, and with such a mature sound. Visual package was great, some really challenging stuff that they nailed, another performance I absolutely loved, great job Arlington! Quote
Popular Post Gehrig4 Posted November 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 11, 2023 Very interesting to see CTJ contrasted against a Tennessee band - clearly they have changed nearly the entire program in two weeks! ChristopherRoden Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 WOW ctj!!! That was STUNNING!! Much cleaner than BOASA and State and an absolutely beautiful and emotional performance!!! Well done crunchycookie3 and Nny14 2 Quote
crunchycookie3 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 CTJ made a show about flamingos just feel so emotional! They will be in finals tonight—and deservedly so. The Firebird quote at the end is so exciting and equally as fitting. I loved it! Gehrig4 and ChristopherRoden 2 Quote
Popular Post Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 11, 2023 CTJ!!! If that performance doesn't get them into finals, I'd be very surprised, because that was INCREDIBLE!!! They definitely want to perform again tonight, and you could tell! Such a cool pre-show, and then it's such a rich, powerful opening hit! Great soloist all around, guard killed it, and I love the little jam-out/clap-a-long section, so entertaining! and their is so much visual GE, with many different variations of the "Flamingo" leg move! Great finish with Firebird Suite, I do think we will be seeing them again tonight, amazing job CTJ!!! Gehrig4, crunchycookie3, ChristopherRoden and 2 others 5 Quote

MarchingBandOG Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 I'm impressed by Blue Springs marching. The spacing and alignment in their sets is nearly flawless. Quote
Origin Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 CTJ performed like it was their last time, but I hope we see them again. Definitely the best performance of their show I’ve seen this season. Blue Springs has an incredible attention to detail visually. Amazing soloists, but the ensemble moments left something to be desired. Also, the narration at the very end went on way too long. Tubalord11 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Blue Springs has left me speechless.....what a beautiful show!! That Sparano Sax played with such a perfect tone! Visually stunning, and musically just amazing, the ending, while very long, added so much emotional power to the show. I mean, it's a "weird" show design, don't get me wrong, but the execution is top notch, I mean wow wow wow, great job Blue Springs! crunchycookie3 1 Quote
crunchycookie3 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Blue Springs’ show was not my favorite a couple weeks ago, but now I LOVE it. Those kids are some of the best visual performers in the country and they have such a challenging concept to convey, yet they pack it full of emotion! I’m much more partial to TX sound, but the strength of their visual program and originality of their show are incredible. ChristopherRoden and Tubalord11 2 Quote
