They definitely felt more relaxed in their niche of music making the further the show went on for sure, it bodes well for them!

Such a cool and interesting mashup of Barber and Beatles in Westlake's show! I couldn't take my eyes off of the dancer in the beginning, either. Absolutely wonderful! So expressive!

Wow! That Round Rock show was bottom half?! 🤯

I liked everything about it! I love the contrast between the more restrained and stately passages and the ones where the emotion runs more freely. Beautiful visual program, too. I love the overall aesthetic.

I still have no clue what Round Rock's show is about... but they looked great and sounded fantastic! I don't know that I've ever seen a uniform intentionally try to blend in with the turf from the bottom before, but it's certainly a cool effect!

I just don’t understand why we can’t have finals multi cams like they were in 2008-2014. Those were so professionally filmed and you could tell they either knew where to look or studied the shows from earlier contests. None of these crazy whip pans, or focusing on a group doing nothing when something interesting is happening elsewhere.

It means you are streaming on Box5. Buffering during Round Rock as well.

Amazing performance from Cedar Park!!! I was having to catch up on other things so only heard the show, but from what I did here it was amazing!!! A little bit of overplaying in the brass in the last hit on Box5 for me, but overall great ensemble sounds and amazing soloist! 

 

Wanted to say congratulations to all the bands that made finals, especially L.D. Bell, Bridgeland, Westlake, Leander, Rouse and Wakeland! Not many surprises with results, can't wait to watch the rest of finals, gl everyone!!!

For a second, I thought CTJ was crashing Cedar Park's show when all the color guard girls streamed out of the tunnel. All that pink. 😂

I love the contrast between the more rigid marching performers and the fluid color guard. The marching members in particular move amazingly well. And my goodness that wall of sound! So loud, but the high quality is maintained!

I think it rises here from prelims, don’t see how it couldn’t. Although I don’t have a clue what their prelims placement was!

I just want to be able to buy DVDs (or today's equivalent) of all the shows from each year. It's beyond disappointing that I can't easily show my family / friends some of the greatest shows of all time unless I can somehow magically find them on YouTube.

THATS HOW YOU DO IT LEANDER!!! Such a super fun show, LOVE THE TUBA SOLOIST SOOOO MUCH!!! Don't know how you can't not jam out to it....The "ripple" is shown throughout the show, great visuals, soloist killed it, and great sounds all around! Love this show so much.... time to see how Wakeland responses!
