I've definitely seen them. Considering Rouse was not able to keep their lead over Vandegrift tonight at TMC, I'm not making any concrete predictions just yet.

Keller has me a little worried. It wouldn’t be a BOA season without Keller keeping me nervous until the very last minute though.

I am here for this potential L.D. Bell resurgence though…they’ve been due for another shot at the spotlight for a while now.

LD Bell was 1st overall in prelims.

Prosper was 2nd, Wakeland was 3rd, Keller Centeral was 4th, Keller was 11th, Southlake Carroll was 12th.

First out was Hendrickson by a 1.7 margin.

So Wakeland was first in music and visual in prelims but 3rd in GE which is why they were 3rd in prelims. Bell was 2nd in music and visual then 1st in GE making them 1st overall in prelims. 
 

I knew Bell was performing well this year but holy cow did not anticipate them winning prelims! 😮

Whoa ok so Bell was 2nd in Music and Visual in finals too but they went from 1st to 5th in GE which is why they dropped to 4th. Marching band I tell ya!

It warms my heart to see Bell having a bit of a resurgence. Hopefully Bowie (my alumni) will have one too in the near future.

I just want to extend my congratulations to everyone of the finalist bands! I am extremely pleased with how things panned out, but I am shocked by a few things that did occur. However, that is just the thrill of it all! I want to give shoutouts to all of the schools who were extremely kind to mine! I am just extremely happy right now, and I hope yall enjoyed Forney!

Lol it is on brand for the program to progressively climb up the rankings throughout the season and maybe giving their fans a heart attack here or there

Usually I try not to dissect stuff related to GE (cause that’s just a wormhole I hate diving into) but yeah I have to agree with this. I know it’s not the biggest deal ever but stating something about a color as if it’s an irrefutable fact is way too questionable. I know this entire activity is subjective but cmon.

Difference between Henny and Boyd was .5, and they missed because Boyd got melted visually, and Hendrickson I guess the color pink was just too much for the GE visual judge

Just wanted to give a HUGE congratulations to all our finalists and class champion bands! I severely underestimated Lovejoy, as they were 17th, only a few points out of finals. Congratulations to Wakeland on the 2nd W in a row. Bit surprised at some of these results, Duncanville was way to low IMO, they looked and sounded phenomenal. Seeing Keller in 11th in prelims is definitely scary, but hey stuff happens, I'm sure they will be fine! I'm a bit to tired to wright an whole essay right now on everyone, but all the finalist were incredible. Personal favorite of the day was probably hmmmm idk I loved that Prosper show, TC and KC blew me away with their sounds, but yeah crowd and my personal favorite was Prosper, super happy to see them do so well here! Congratulations again to everyone, can't wait to see how these shows end up cleaning up in the coming weeks!

I know we mentioned it earlier but thank you again for your thorough and thoughtful coverage of this contest from prelims to finals. I think I can speak for just about everyone how much we appreciate the effort you put in today!

Well I’ll be darned. I see that now. And it looks like GE heavily determined placements, even more so than usual. The allocation of points were a bit unbalanced imo, seeing that Wakeland performed really well in the performance captions in prelims, placing first in both, but being rated nearly two whole points lower in GE placed them third. That’s just wonky to me

This was mainly a prelims issue though, GE was kinda all over the place in finals, interestingly enough

I do kind of feel like that was a little misplaced, they weren't that much worse than the other bands in ge! Also glad to see LD Bell make a comeback.

Yeah I was very surprised myself, I thought they had a great run and the drill was pretty clean, so I’m a bit confused, but looking at these results just had me confused…..so many bands placed and some of the scores…no way D-Ville didn’t get at LEAST a 70, idk I’m just a bit bamboozled, some crazy results to say the least
