Looks like HP is not doing Mansfield anymore. They are participating in a drumline contest on this day instead.

It’s not normally super big, and I’d imagine a few more bands will attend. It may be a little smaller this year but I’d imagine not a ton.

It was kinda small last year. I believe it was a much larger thing in 2019 and even 2021. Southlake Carroll and James Martin used to come here, but they stopped after 2021.

It was becoming a pretty substantial contest before COVID. 

Summit always went - it's their school district but Highland Park and many other notable programs were competing.

Do we have a schedule or any info on this comp. This one is also next weekend with some notable programs. I'd definitely say Lake Ridge is the front runner for this one, but if Aledo is coming they may spice things up.

Well, it looks like this will be a small contest again, and there's no class D this year. I seriously wonder what was up in 2019/2021. This used to be a big comp back then. Not even Summit, an MISD school is attending this year.

Well, that sucks it's so small. Hopefully next year that's not the case. Here's my predictions for finals 

1st: Lake Ridge (music/percussion) 

2nd: Colleyville Heritage (guard/visual) 

3rd: Brewer 

4th: Berkner 

5th: Summit 

6th: Legacy 

7th: Timberview 

8th: Seguin

Sad that Aledo isn't going I loved their sax last year! Yeah, Id say Lake ridge will take this competition which will be awesome because it will be their first time beating Colleyville. Which is also a great sign for their season this year. If they do not end up winning I'm going to guess it was very close, however this competition is known for having poor judging.(Thats why no one is going lol)

Oh, yeah, 2021 was definitely a mess. My band used to go to this competition every year since 2015, but after 2021 (my freshman year) we stopped coming here, likely because of the poor judging.

Lake ridge looks incredible lol! I’ve seen both and while I think it can go either way, I think Lake Ridge is just the stronger band right now, but ig we’ll see this weekend!

Prelims is gonna be a big deal since cville and lake ridge are in the same class so we will likely see who would win finals depending on prelims results. Also excited to see what Brewer has to offer in class C against the “favorites” since they had a really successful season last year.
