Wow, they really are starting to make this a regular for their season. It seems they will be winning and sweeping this comp for many years to come unless of course they stop going, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. But hey, hopefully this starts bring other bigger schools, like last year with KC going!

Are you sure about Mansfield? Their calendar lists three contests on that day and they're definitely only doing one lol.

I'm not very sure about Mansfield because of it so I'm just going off their calendar.

Do you think them being on the USBands website means that they're committed to the USBands contest? The MHS band site still has three contests on the calendar.

I would assume so yes. Of course they might be contemplating all 3 but I feel like that’s probably where they will end up going

Maybe for a while they were thinking about which contest they might've wanted to go to. But it seems like they're most likely doing USBands instead of Wylie and Mesquite. We should also not forget that they have three contests the following week. Don Hanna, McKinney, and Midlothian. But we'll just have to see when more contests post their entries/schedule.

Edit: Okay so I will 100% be here, will do recaps of all bands both in prelims and finals, very excited to see all these programs! Finals preds below, might edit after week one of comps:

honestly, it’s gonna be a pretty big fight for that last spot. I’d even say WG and Birdville aren’t necessarily safe/locks, but 1st-7th bands should all make finals relativity easy.

Doesn’t look like Legacy has anything on this day, and GP’s calendar isn’t public, but I’d say it’s most likely safe to say the already confirmed bands will most likely be all the ones in attendance this year unless there are some late joiners

I’ve heard that Allen isn’t as big as previous years because they are wanting to be more competitive. Is this true?

Idk if I’d say that. I’ve seen their ht show and maybe it’s not as many as usual, but they are still huge in numbers. They do however look snd sound pretty good, very excited to see them here! Anytime by chance have the schedule for this comp?

The schedule generally comes out a week or 2 before the comp, so expect it soon

This is true. They are only marching 284 for the contest show. (source: their website)
