So as of now, prosper or rock hill will win, both are super strong, and wouldn’t be to surprised to see Rockhill pass prosper here pretty soon

Highland Park has added this to its band calendar. I think it may be the first time they've ever participated in this contest - or at least the first time in a long while.

Wow, this is a very strong Lineup considering how many comps are on this day, especially in North Texas. Will Rockhill be able to defend their title from fellow Prosper ISD school Prosper, or will we see a new Victor, perhaps Highland park or Lake Highlands? Here’s my predictions: 

1st: Prosper 

2nd: Rock Hill 

3rd: Lake Highlands 

4th: Highland Park 

5th: Frisco Independence 

6th: The Colony 

7th: Plano Senior 

8th: Frisco Centennial 

9th: Plano West 

10th: Frisco Heritage

Glad to see The Colony so high! We just came off of an amazing season and it’s going really well for mid September, it’s our first year at this competition (every year we have gone to HEB) so it’s exciting to see how this will go!

This should be a really fun competition! I hope I'm able to go. I'm also excited to see how Highland Park's new show does - it's a bit different than years past, with a heavy jazz focus. Also excited to see Prosper, Rock Hill, Lake Highlands and several other bands I haven't seen before. And I think we might get decent weather. Woot!!

It’s very much possible, they had a really strong season last year, just with how they’ve been doing these last few seasons and how stacked this comp is, it won’t be easy for them, but I haven’t seen them this year so they very well may be a dark horse
