This comp will be on September 23rd. Here is the current bands that are going per their calendars, I'm almost 100% sure Lovejoy is only doing prelims due to having homecoming in the evening, so we will have a new champion this year. Will post the schedule once it's released on the contest website:

no, they schedule hasn't come out but they should post it soon so as soon as they do I'll post it here

Here is the schedule for this competition! Nice to see Trinity coming here. With Lovejoy only doing prelims I feel like they are the biggest competition Azle has for 1st, so it should be interesting to see how things turn out. Lovejoy might do finals, they have homecoming in the evening so most likely not unless they end up going first in finals, but I think it's safe to assume they are only doing prelims as of now.

I agree. I’ve seen their show and they sound fantastic! Very entertaining show and the visual package is also very good , very excited to see them at BOA prosper!

Seems like this comp was pretty strong this year! top 4 in prelims were Azle, Trinity, Reedy (seems they are doing well with Lovejoy's old director) and Lovejoy 4th. 2nd-4th was beyond close, I think personally Lovejoy would have been second if not first seeing how close they were in prelims to Trinity, but I think they will do great at Wylie next weekend, as well as reedy, should be fun to see how they do. It seems like Frisco Centennial just aren't what they used to be anymore. They moved up in finals, but they were behind Frisco Emerson and Memorial in prelims, and barley ahead of them in finals, and Pine Tree managed to place 4th over them. Congratulations to all the bands that participated tonight and this morning! Also feels bad for Azle with this happening twice in a row from prelims to finals (IYKYK). Only doing scores for top 3 but website has full recaps
