sax5warrior Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 my issues with the faulty link isnt solved yet, please help Quote
Clarinot Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 My suggestion was to actually save the file to your computer, and then import it, but nobody told me if that actually worked or not. I added something on the playlist page, below the url to copy and paste, there is a link with the url. Right click on this (or click and hold, depending on your macos version and # of mouse buttons) and save the file somewhere on your computer. Then open up iTunes and go to the import menu. Instead of pasting the url, locate the file you just saved. Please let me know if this works Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Im trying to figure it out right now with a friend. she said it worked just fine for her but its not working for me. something about it saving the file as a .php or something? Quote
Clarinot Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Well if you're a mac user, a file extension really isnt necessary BUT you can save it as m3u (playlist format), txt, or csv One of those should work... php wont, it just has a php extension because the playlist is generated in php, but it's not really a php file Quote
bariphonium Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 The problem, though, is that it still downloads as a php (for me, anyways). I've gotten the streaming files into iTunes, but some don't read. I'll double-click them, but nothing will happen. Some others will begin streaming, but won't start. Maybe it's because I'm on a Mac, but I'm not sure. Quote
Dynasty Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Did you check them against the list in the other thread? I still haven't gotten the converted .wma's uploaded. Otherwise, what files don't play? Quote
bluebellbrass07 Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 I just cant figure out how to save it as anything other than a php.... *sigh* oh well... Quote
